This is what happens when you just let ego run your life and everyone around you applauds you for being an ego-maniac. Our sick capitalist culture rewards people for being sick public spectacles for profit. The sicker the man, the more clicks, the higher the profits. Capitalism breeds devils.

That's what low development looks like.

Latest film I watched. I found it quite entertaining, though unrealistic. Well made, well acted. If you like raw physical violence, if you're a fan of martial arts, this one's for you.

The amount of corruption within professional wrestling is wild.

I'm showing you all these examples of what happens to people who live without truth, without development, without consciousness. This is what life becomes when you're just doing survival. This is the human default without self-actualization work, without genuine philosophy. Philosophy is not academic theory. Philosophy is about how to live truthfully, properly, consciously. Without philosophy people live like animals.

Of course the UFC is a corrupt racket. What else would you expect from people who punch each other in the face for a living? You expect truth, integrity, and consciousness? Violent sports are always going to be a corrupt industry. Why? Because only corrupt and unconscious people use violence to resolve disputes. Only corrupt and unconscious people would punch each other in the face for profit. There is a parallel between violent sports for men and sex work for women, in terms of corruption and low consciousness. Men of low consciousness go into violence for money. Women of low consciousness go into sex for money.

The glorification of martial arts and physical violence is corruption, but the fans don't even realize it because the fans have the same level of consciousness as the owners and fighters. The less conscious you are, the more appealing you find violence. This is not a coincidence. It is also not a coincidence that people involved in this stuff are sexual abusers, rapists, batterers, felons, misogynists, and Trump supporters. Violence, lying, cheating, stealing, exploiting, abusing — they all come as a package. You don't just do one.

Macho vibes = fascist vibes. What is the correlation between a UFC fan and a Trump supporter? It's gotta be something like 90%+. Why? Development level.

Really contemplate this: Why do you find watching someone get punched in the face appealing? Seriously. That's not as trivial as it seems. Get to the rock bottom of that. Your interests reveal things about you, they reveal your true values.

Usually it comes from insecure men who were bullied in school, who weren't loved, who have trauma, who had dysfunctional parents, who are short in height — so they feel a need to be more macho by proving they can fight and by taking testosterone to make themselves look bigger and more manly. There is a macho fetish with people who love UFC, which aligns with political fascism, authoritarianism, and patriarchy. In the most extreme form it will turn into Nazism. But it's not all dysfunctional. In a low consciousness, low development society, effectiveness at violence is necessary because that's how such a society resolves its conflicts. It's ugly but it's necessary at that level of development, just as it's necessary for chimpanzees to fling shit at each other.

Using violence to resolve difference in perspective is mostly a conservative, right-wing phenomenon. Why? Because the conservative mind does not have enough openmindedness to adjudicate a difference in perspective consciously. It's much easier to beat you wife than to sit down and listen to her issues with an open mind. It's much easier to threaten your employees rather than to sit down and compromise with them on pay and benefits.

Remember, violence is not just entertainment. It's entertainment because it is an effective survival mechanism for low consciousness minds. In a society, the less developed the people, the more popular violent entertainment will be.

The mainstream self-help industry is so disgustingly corrupt. The more mainstream it is, the more popular it is, the more corrupt it is. And the most disgusting thing about it is, not only are all the most successful self-help gurus massively corrupt grifters, their grit is to teach their students and followers how to become grifters just like them. It's grifters teaching grifters how to be more effective grifters while providing a set of rationalizations for why grifting is good for the customer. The self-help industry sells courses in corruption which are bought by all the major podcasters, influencers, and Youtubers to optimize their marketing funnels. It's such a pernicious form of corruption masquerading as goodness and self-improvement. Naive folk enter self-help without any idea that they are being inducted into a corruption funnel.

This fucking guy takes narcissism and corruption to cartoonish levels.

There's no clearer example of how power and money corrupts than Elon Musk. There is nobody in Musk's life who can tell him No. It's like being a private dictator. You can see how badly this kind of dynamic corrupts the mind.
